Sketchbooks are important!
Sketchbooks are a great way to practice your art and are awesome indicators of artistic growth. Even if you don't like being restricted to a book (which I didn't for a while) it is important for an artist to keep drawing. That is the only way you will get better! Sketchbooks are also a great place to experiment and explore new media. If you want to get into art, sketching in a sketchbook is a great place to start!
